ASCO focuses on promoting lifelong learning for oncology professionals, supporting cancer research, enhancing the environment for oncology practice, ensuring access to quality cancer care, fostering a global network of oncology experts, and educating patients with cancer. The organization is complemented by its affiliate, Conquer Cancer, the ASCO Foundation, which funds groundbreaking research and impactful programs. ASCO’s strategic plan guides its efforts to provide information and diverse expertise to the global oncology community, with defined goals aimed at reducing the burden of cancer and marking progress towards its overarching vision.
