We are pleased to invite you to the upcoming GEH Network meeting, where we are delighted to host Professor Londa Schiebinger as our guest speaker.
Professor Schiebinger will present on her recent publication in Nature entitled:
“Guidelines for Intersectional Analysis in Science and Technology: Implementation and Checklist Development”, a work to which GENDRO has had the opportunity to contribute.
About the speaker
Londa Schiebinger is the John L. Hinds Professor of History of Science at Stanford University and Founding Director of Gendered Innovations in Science, Health & Medicine, Engineering, and Environment. She is a leading international expert on gender in science and technology, with a distinguished career that includes addressing the United Nations, the European Parliament, and the Korean National Assembly. Professor Schiebinger received her Ph.D. from Harvard University and is an elected member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. Her contributions have been recognised with numerous awards, including the Alexander von Humboldt Research Prize and a Guggenheim Fellowship.
